Hello. My name is chuckshoun. I am an old man. I like to shoot. I used to shoot competitive high power rifle until my right eye got too old. I'm trying pistol now, and as soon as the Manutua range dries out I plan to shoot 25 and 50 yards with the .22 LR and 45 ACP to determine if I can do what I did fifty years ago in Ohio. If I do, watch my dust! If I don't, I'll be the most pestiferous person on the rifle range (75 yd line at Mantua) trying to get things done right. I regret that the pistol matches in Utah are at the Uof U or at the Henderson range up Parley's Canyon. I'm too lazy for the IPDA and those "run around and shoot through barrels matches". All I want to do is shoot at bullseye targets. If anybody is interested in Bullseye pistol, let me know. Maybe we can do a thing at the range some day. I guess nobody cares. OK, I'll shoot alone. I have been shooting at Impact Guns during the winter months, and have decided that I'll just shoot for fun, rather that competition. That way I can win when I want to. I guess pins might be a try, but I never know when the pin matches are. I think it would be a good idea to have a category in the forum of what the matches are and when they are scheduled.
