Only registered members of BEWF and their registered family members are authorized on our ranges. Everyone else is either sponsored ($5./day) by a member or is a trespasser.

MANTUA RANGE:

  • You must be a qualified BEWF Rangemaster, or accompanied by a qualified BEWF Rangemaster, to shoot at the Mantua Range at anytime.

  • DO NOT MOVE THE SHOOTING BENCHES!
  • Lock the gate behind you, entering and leaving. If someone else wants in on your unlock, make them show their Rangemaster hat and current membership card if you don't know them personally.
  • Clean up your shooting area when you are finished.
  • If you bring a non-member, you owe BEWF $5.oo for their day pass. Prepay prior to the use to Al
  • If we catch whoever it was who cut our chain and put their own lock on it, we will charge them civilly for sure and criminally if appropriate.

TREMONTON RANGE

  • Members may use the Tremonton Range without being sponsored by a Rangemaster. Range is open 7-days/week.(Monday thru Thursday after 5:30 Friday thru Sunday all day)
  • Lock the gates behind you. Be sure to lock our lock into the end "series of locks", so each individual lock has access.
  • Use only normal targets fastened to backstops. DO NOT use anything except "printed targets", no glass, no bottles, no trash, no garbage!.
  • Make sure all shooters observe all safety rules at all times.
  • Clean up your shooting area after you are finished.

Read and understand the Range rules; you got them with your acceptance membership. If you need another copy, get it at any meeting. (Second Tuesday each month, 1830hrs (that's 6:30pm) at the Fire Station in Brigham City.

Who put the extra lock on the chain at the range gate? Do we have another organization sharing the range? Of course, recently there's only one lock, and the chain is very short. I hope things have been worked out between the BEWF and the "other major owner" of the range.

There is no other owner to the land inside the fence at the Mantua Range. It is owned by BEWF and controlled by our rules. It is open to use by Rangemaster-qualified (by BEWF) members, and members accompanied by a rangemaster.

And that's the end of that story.
